AssistantCoach Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 31, 2026. AssistantCoach is a fantasy football coaching app operated by MD Studios LLC.

Information We Collect

• Account information, such as email address, display name, and sign-in provider ID.
• Fantasy league information from Sleeper, such as league settings, rosters, matchups, draft information, standings, transactions, and team data.
• User-provided information, such as onboarding answers, coach preferences, league notes, chat messages, and corrections.
• Subscription information, such as active entitlements, product IDs, renewal state, and purchase status from RevenueCat and App Store billing.
• Push notification information, such as Expo push tokens and notification preferences.
• If you opt in, usage and diagnostic information such as screens viewed, onboarding completion, feature interactions, request success/failure, latency, crash information, and error categories.

How We Use Information

• Create and manage user accounts.
• Connect and sync Sleeper league data.
• Generate fantasy football coaching recommendations and explanations.
• Personalize coach tone, memory, and weekly guidance.
• Enforce subscription access.
• Send requested push notifications.
• Improve product reliability, analytics, and command center monitoring.
• Investigate bugs, abuse, and service problems.

Third-Party Services

• Firebase Authentication and Firestore for account and app data.
• Google Cloud Run and BigQuery for backend services and analytics.
• Google Gemini for AI-generated explanations. With your permission, relevant questions, league format, roster, coach memory, manager notes, and recent conversation may be processed by Google as our service provider.
• RevenueCat for subscription entitlement management.
• Expo for app builds and push notification delivery.
• Sleeper API for fantasy football league data.
• PostHog for optional anonymous product analytics. Account and league identifiers, session replay, and automatic lifecycle capture are excluded.
• Sentry for optional anonymous crash reporting, performance monitoring, and error diagnostics. Account identifiers and default personally identifiable information collection are excluded.

Data Retention And Deletion

• We keep account and coaching information while an account is active and only as long as needed to provide the app, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes.
• Account deletion removes the RevenueCat customer profile, Firebase account, Firestore app data, and account-linked analytics rows, and revokes Sign in with Apple authorization when applicable.
• Limited records may be retained only when required by law. Apple purchase and subscription records are controlled by Apple.

Your Choices

• Sign out of the app.
• Disable push notifications in device settings or app settings.
• Allow, decline, or withdraw AI data sharing in app Settings.
• Allow, decline, or withdraw optional analytics and diagnostics in app Settings.
• Disconnect or stop using Sleeper features.
• Permanently delete your account and associated app data from Settings in the app.
• Manage subscriptions through Apple account settings.

Sleeper Data

When you connect Sleeper, AssistantCoach reads league and roster data needed to provide fantasy coaching. AssistantCoach does not post to Sleeper, edit your roster, submit lineup changes, or make transactions on your behalf.

AI Data Sharing and Generated Content

Before AI data sharing begins, the app asks whether AssistantCoach may send relevant coaching context to Google Gemini. You may decline or later withdraw permission in Settings. Without permission, AssistantCoach does not call Gemini for your account and deterministic, non-AI tools remain available. AI output can be incomplete or incorrect and does not guarantee fantasy outcomes.

Optional Analytics and Diagnostics

The app separately asks before analytics or diagnostics begin. You may decline or withdraw permission in Settings. AssistantCoach does not send account or league identifiers to PostHog or Sentry. Account-linked private analytics in BigQuery is deleted with your account. Coach-chat message text is excluded from product analytics.

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We may share limited information with service providers that help operate the app, process subscriptions, deliver notifications, host backend systems, or provide analytics. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the app, users, or business.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect app data. No system is perfectly secure, and users should avoid sharing sensitive personal information in coach chat or league notes.

Children's Privacy

AssistantCoach is not directed to children under 13. If we learn that we collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
